This idea is presented in order to build up morale and help low income residents have more opportunities to earn money and have access to better quality produce. Urban farming planters are located on each unit as well as open green space.

Farmer’s market can be held on the middle of the site, as well as along the main road. A new feature of Santa Fe Villas is that of a self-reliant urban farming community. Events and temporally programs can be held on the site to celebrate harvest.
